Biography Kocku von Stuckrad is a Professor in the Religious Studies Department at the University of Groningen. His most recent work includes Einführung in die Religionswissenschaft (Introduction to the Science of Religion) with Hans G. Kippenberg published in 2003 by C.H. Beck and Western Esotericism: A Brief History of Secret Knowledge (Equinox, 2005).
