Abstract |
This chapter is about the personal, or periphrastic, passive construction. Irish supports three variants of the personal passive construction (ie. perfect, progressive, prospective), each of which involves the auxiliary verb (one or two forms of the verb 'to be' found in Irish) in periphrastic form. |
