Abstract |
The present chapter focuses on what groups are, without entering into methodological details. It draws attention to communicative and thought processes that are normally involved in mundane thinking and talking and which should be taken into consideration in focus-group research. The aim of the chapter is to recall some main features of focus groups for those who are not familiar with them. |
