Each of the five main purposes of MMR, namely, Triangulation, Complementarity, Development, Expansion, and Initiation will be described, explained and discussed in this chapter. By becoming familiar with MMR purposes, readers will be enabled to identify and understand more fully and critically the scope of a MMR-based research study.
