Description Abstract Neil Price is Professor of Archaeology at the University of Uppsala, Sweden, and also holds honorary positions at the University of Aberdeen and the University of the Witwatersrand. A leading specialist on the Vikings and ancient religion, he has global interests in a wide range of archaeological subjects. He is currently researching historical piracy, the Paci c Theatre of World War II, Viking burials and the archaeology of the early modern opium trade.
