Abstract |
This introduction to the volume poses the question of how to best talk about nonviolence in the current geopolitical context and outlines the goals of this book, which are to affirm and expand the thinking on nonviolence. The viewpoint is that nonviolence is both a theoretical and practical option for resisting violence and for constructive social change. The chapter also relates the origins of the book. |
