“The Ethics of Hospitality: Reflections on Aging” by Sophie Cloutier proposes an exploration of the ethics of our relationship with other aging individuals. Hospitality is universal: it is present in every culture and religion, and it is the guide to welcoming the stranger at the door. Cloutier proposes that we, humans, are relational beings who are receptive to learning how to welcome the unforeseen. |
