6. Description Abstract This chapter explores four educational purposes for video: videoconferencing, video production, screencasting, and the use of video repositories. These approaches can be used in any local ELT context, using minimal technology and free, open-access resources. What these approaches share is their potential for engaging teacher-learners and supporting their understanding of instruction and themselves as instructors, through the
medium of video.
