It is important to remember that Israel is a democracy, and that Israeli society is deeply divided politically. In Israel itself these various factions press for dramatically different solutions to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Consequently, given the political divide that exists in Israel, it would be a fundamental error to criminalize all Jews for the actions of the current Israeli government. |
