Description Abstract Beginning with a case-study of justice in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, this chapter delves into the theory of justice, first as it relates to law, and then in the philosophy of Nicolas Wolterstorff. The clash between justice as right order (Plato) and justice as individual rights (starting with the Church Fathers) then leads to a survey of justice in the Hebrew Bible.
