Abstract |
The Trzcińskis briefly move to Wałbrzych where, aged 14, Krzysztof listens to western radio stations. Inspired by Leopold Tyrmand, the first YMCA jazz clubs appear in Poland; the first post-war jazz concert takes place in Warsaw in 1947; and jazz appears in the cinema in Sun Valley Serenade. |
