Abstract |
Komeda’s wife, Zofia, flies over to join him in L.A. Heartbroken, she writes to Roman Dyląg, lamenting how Hollywood has destroyed her husband. She flies back to Poland with Komeda on a stretcher. He never recovers consciousness and dies in hospital in Warsaw, a few days before his thirty-eighth birthday. |
