Abstract |
Hendricks formed a bebop group and later enrolled at the University of Toledo. He met and married Colleen Moore. When Charlie Parker came to Toledo, Colleen asked him to let Jon sit in. They moved to New York, where Jon started working with King Pleasure and Dave Lambert. But after having four children in seven years, he and Colleen split up.
