This chapter looks at the influence of World War One on the reception of Ball and the political (e.g., Labour, Communist Party) and even religious (e.g., continued Protestantising, developments at Thaxted, notions of ‘prophet’) competition over the interpretation of Ball and Morris’s understanding of Ball in particular. |
