Description |
Abstract |
This chapter looks at the ongoing niche understandings of Ball. It also shows why sympathetic interpreters on the Left and in memorials struggle with questions of violence and religion after the decline of historical materialist readings, while a violent and religiously dedicated Ball thrives in novels and documentaries. |
