6. Description Abstract The chapter looks at the role of migration for religiosity. Migration tends to make people sensitive for their own beliefs and opens a window of opportunity for change. The new social environment affects migrants, but equally important is the society’s inclusiveness. Repressed group may hold to their previous views, whereas others tend to become more like the majority population.
