6. Description Abstract Pagans ascribe to a wide variety of cosmologies and worldviews, some of whom may be atheists. Although some Pagans are hard polytheists, deities as gods, others are soft polytheists, viewing them as metaphors or archetypes. There are also humanist, animist, pantheist and other Pagan worldviews with different conceptions of divinity. “Religion” need not follow a Protestant Christian concern with a belief in a god but rather on a set of practices.
