How to Order
All of our titles may be ordered by individuals at special individual prices. Starting with the 2014 volumes, we are offering the option of online subscriptions for personal subscribers.
To order, please go to the individual webpages of the journal you are interested in and place your order online using our secure system. This is a PayPal service that also takes credit card payments if you do not have a PayPal account.
Click below to see journals in our main subject areas and then click on the journal you wish to subscribe to. Chose Subscriptions at the top of the journal’s home page.
Alternatively, you may pay by cheque in US dollars or Sterling Pounds, or pay by bank transfer/wire transfer to:
Account name: Equinox Publishing Ltd.
Branch: Lavender Hill, London SW11 1LH
Account number: 91551574
Sort Code: 40-02-16
Swift: MIDLGB 2115C
Our journals run on a calendar year basis. If you subscribe to a journal mid-way through the subscription period, you will be sent the issues already published during that subscription period and any forthcoming issues for that period and then you will be sent a renewal notice. If a journal runs late and you have an online subscription, your access will continue until we send out the renewal for the first issue of the delayed volume, approximately 30 days in advance of publication.
Overseas subscriptions (outside of the UK) are despatched by airmail. UK subscriptions are despatched by 2nd class post. When a journal is printed in the USA, North American copies go out by printed matter to domestic U.S. addresses and by airmail elsewhere.
Claims and Refunds
Claims will not be honoured after 3 months of the despatch of an issue. Subscribers are responsible for informing us of any change of address prior to the despatch of an issue. No refunds will be paid after the despatch of the first issue of a volume.
If you have an online subscription or a subscription with an online component, you will be issued with login details at the time you pay for your subscription. Once you receive this, you may change your password or other profile details. In case of difficulty, contact customer services (Yvonne Nazareth).
Many of our journals are published on behalf of learned or professional societies. Membership normally includes a subscription or at least a special discount which is normally less than the ordinary personal price. See individual journal pages for details. Membership subscriptions most often include print and online options. Where applicable, details of how to join the sponsoring society are on the individual journal page.
VAT is not charged on print-only subscriptions. If you are in a territory eligible for VAT (under European Union regulations) and you order an online subscription or subscriber to a journal with an online component or if you download an e-article, VAT will be charged automatically either as a percentage (at current VAT rates) calculated on 1/3 of the total price in the case of a full subscription or as a percentage (at current VAT rates) of the total price in the case of a download.
VAT laws are subject to change beyond our control!
