Description

This paper describes the construction of a prototype computer system which operates using everyday or commonsense language. It is part of a larger project, the Everyday Language Computing (ELC) project (Kobayashi and Sugeno, 1997; Iwazume et al., 2003; Ito and Sugimoto, 2006) which was conducted at the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN ; RIkagaku KENkyujo) in Japan.
