Description

This chapter deals with the imaginary world of Nick Cave’s literature rather than his music and song writing, The theme of this imaginary world is considered to be best understood in terms of the Calvinist doctrine of total depravity. Thus, the chapter outlines this world through the variety of his literature and attempts to explore how the theological doctrine of total depravity functions.
