GEERTZ W. ARMIN Dr. Phil., is Professor in the History of Religions at the Department of the Study of Religion, Chair of the Religion, Cognition and Culture Research Unit (RCC) and Section Leader in the MINDLab coalition, Aarhus University, Denmark. His interests include Indigenous religions, Native American religions, method and theory in the study of religion, the cognitive science of religion, contemporary spirituality. His publications range from the cognitive science of religion to method and theory in the study of religions and the religions of indigenous peoples. He has published articles and chapters on evolutionary theory, atheism, the neurobiology of prayer and introductions to the cognitive science of religion.
