The introductory chapter establishes the relationship between reflection, teacher ed,/development and video, with a Conceptual framework etc. The chapter outlines the range of ways in which video can support reflective practice. It presents rationale and research base for using video for teacher learning based on broad teacher education literature and makes clear the constructivist principles.
