Bill Nowlin, one of the three Rounder founders, lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, home of Rounder for most of its history. In addition to his work with Rounder, he has specialized in writing and editing books, most of them about another passion: baseball.

Description

Rounder releases 45 albums in 1980, the 10th anniversary year. With more than 20 employees, an in-house union is formed. Rounder wins its first Grammy, a Gatemouth Brown album. Reggae label Heartbeat Records is launched. Becoming more active in New Orleans and Louisiana.
