Description

This sūra contains accounts of the rebellion of Iblīs (Q15.26–48) and the angels’ visits to Abraham and Lot (Q15.49–77). Two short stories of punishment follow: the people of ‘the Grove’ and the inhabitants of ‘al-Ḥijr’ (Q15.78–84). Q15 concludes with a series of admonitions to the Prophet.
