Description

This sūra condemns the folly of idolatry, especially the idea that God has ‘daughters,’ and warns of the dangers of persistent disbelief. It goes on to recount the stories of Moses and Jesus, and concludes with a vivid scene of judgment. Q43 receives its title from the ‘decoration’ referred to at Q43.35.
