Description
Bible readers typically find themselves succumbing to the ideology of the text. Ideological criticism searches for cracks and fissures in the text, revealed by weaknesses in the argument, inconsistencies and contradictions, that can pinpoint glimpses of a silenced counter-ideology and of later additions.
