Richard Rosengarten is an Associate Professor of Religion and Literature and Director of Doctoral Studies at the Divinity School of the University of Chicago. He also served there as the Dean of Students and the Dean of Divinity as we as being both the Vice Chair and Chair of the Council on the Graduate Study of Religion. In his scholarship he examines Enlightenment thought and its import for religious (especially Christian) thought and practice.
