This chapter explore the general changes in the number of local churches and their adherents in Stockholm Region between 1980 and 2020, focusing on the role of international Pentecostalism. The authors test the hypothesis that the changes in the number of local churches in Stockholm can exemplify processes of desecularization in Sweden.
