Mohammed Rustom is Professor of Islamic Thought and Global Philosophy at Carleton University, Director of the Carleton Centre for the Study of Islam, and Executive Director of the Institute for Advanced Islamic Studies. An award-winning author whose works have been translated into over ten languages, his most recent books are Inrushes of the Heart: The Sufi Philosophy of ʿAyn al-Quḍāt (SUNY Press, 2023) and A Sourcebook in Global Philosophy (Equinox, 2025).
