OUR PUBLISHING IN ISLAMIC STUDIES

Our publishing  includes journals, monographs, student-oriented survey volumes as well as a new translation of the Qurʾān

Journals

Our Journal of Islamic Archaeology, launched in 2014 is the only journal today devoted to the field of Islamic archaeology on a global scale. Our other dedicated journal, Comparative Islamic Studies, focuses on the comparative study of Islam within a religious studies framework. Of course, many — if not most — of our other journals publish articles that are of interest to scholars in this field.  You can search across all our journals in the the search option to your right.

Books

We publish three series, Themes in Qurʾānic Studies, Monographs in Arabic and Islamic Studies (includes translations of key texts) and Comparative Islamic Studies (companion to the journal) as well as other many books not within a series. In archaeology, we publish Monographs in Islamic Archaeology.
